Each of these is an additional cost. Gifts by Shell, in our sole discretion, and for reasons of overall design aesthetic, may refuse these requests as they my make the finished design appear too cluttered. Please keep in mind that surface embellishments may add to the thickness and weight of your finished. Bulkier and/or heavier cards may require additional postage, increasing the shipping cost, for which you, as the customer, are responsible.

The chosen name or word must be able to fit within the confines of the design. Shell reserves the right to decline requests for personalization if names or messages are too long. Scaling them smaller to fit is not always desirable as this may affect readability, and precision die cuts of smaller wordforms or letterforms is not always possible.

Please bear in mind that handmade items take time to create. In addition, delivery times vary , depending on the shipping address and customer's preferred shipping method.

To ensure that your item is shipped in time for you to present as a gift, Gifts by Shell humbly requests that you allow a minimum two weeks' lead time when specifying a completion date or deadline for your project.

Requests that do not take into account the lead time required may be declined.

Your quote request and project requirements will be discussed with you further via email communication, and work will not be undertaken until you approve the quoted price.

A photo of your completed item will be emailed to you for your approval, at which time payment is due in full.

If the item is not to your liking, Gifts by Shell reserves the right to list it for sale in our online store., and you will not be billed.

Please bear in mind that handmade items take time to create. In addition, delivery times vary , depending on the shipping address and customer's preferred shipping method.

For instance, delivery within Canada may be faster than delivery to an address in the United States or abroad. This is especially true if your item is sent by surface mail rather than by air mail, and also if it needs to clear Customs at its destination.

To ensure that your item is shipped in time for you to present as a gift, Gifts by Shell humbly requests that you allow a minimum five weeks' lead time when specifying a completion date or deadline for your project.

Requests that do not take into account the lead time required may be declined.
